New Reviews
Dear Friends,
I hope you are having a healthy and happy summer. I am pleased to share three recent reviews for NPR Books.
Three Summers, by Margarita Liberacki, translated from Greek by Karen Van Dyck, a dreamy coming-of-age novel with some serious overtones.
When We Were Arabs, by Massoun Hayoun, a fascinating memoir about growing up Jewish and North African in LA, and the impacts of white supremacy and colonialism on North African Jews.
What Could be Saved, by Gregory Spatz, a lovely collection of short stories set in Seattle, with violin-making as a through line.
Thank you so much and best to all,
Martha
